Production Associate

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Performs all product handling activities (i.e. stacking, counting, packaging, sealing, put bags in trays or boxes). 2. Provides assistance as directed by Productions Supervisor/Manager, for repackaging and reworking product. 3. Performs visual inspection of product ensuring quality is acceptable. 4. Keeps work area clean. Performs cleaning of assigned areas. 5. Assists in training new employees. 6. Provides suggestions to improve process, procedures and department in support of company goals. 7. Follows Company, GMP and Safety policies to ensure compliance. 8. Follows food safety principles and legal requirements. 9. Maintains a positive and constructive work environment with in the department as well as with other departments and promotes teamwork. 10. Works in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements. 11. Other duties, as assigned. JOB SKILLS Active learning, active listening, verbal communications, language skills, judgement/decision making, ability to lift 30 lbs.
