Job Responsibilities

1. Mix proper ingredients at correct temperature while supplying and loading any materials needed.
2. Verify ingredients on the formula sheets.
3. Accurately follow the formula/recipe sheets.
4. Record the time and temperature of dough on the mixing control sheet.
5. Rotate and use re-work dough as necessary.
6. Thoroughly clean mixers according to our procedures.
7. Monitor equipment verify dough on the production line, record weights.
8. Follow Company, GMP and Safety policies to ensure compliance.
9. Follows all food safety principles and legal requirements.
10. Responsible for following safety practices such as wearing Protective Personal Equipment (PPE)
11. During an emergency involving fire, flood or bodily injury go directly to the Manager on Duty and report the emergency.
12. Maintains the work area clean.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

a) Prior experience working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment. Food industry experience preferred.
b) Must have food handler’s certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
c) Working knowledge of baking, mixing, machine operator, production equipment and processes or desire and ability to learn
d) Must be able to read recipes and formula sheets.
e) The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement is preferred.
f) Multi-tasking and ability to deal with uncertainty, make good decisions, handle pressure, provide follow through and attention to detail is necessary.

Physical Requirements

-This position requires that you work on your feet and /or walk for over 7 hours per shift.
-Ability to work standing consistently throughout the shift with bending, reaching, twisting and lifting required periodically.
-Will frequently lift, push, pull carry and or move 50 pounds throughout shift.
-Safely climb ladders no greater than 2-4 feet high.

Shift Times

Must be available to work mid-morning or afternoon shifts with weekends and overtime as needed.

Pay Range

$17 to $18 per hour
