Mama Lola’s, LLC Once Again Raises the Standard for Quality – Achieves SQF Standards Level 3

Mama Lola’s, LLC dba Mama Lola’s Tortillas (“Mama Lola’s”) headquartered in Phoenix, AZ is pleased to announce that it has successfully met the requirements necessary to achieve SQF STANDARDS LEVEL 3 for food manufacturing, packaging, storage and distribution.
Safe Quality Food Institute’s (SQFI) SQF Code, edition 8 is a ‘Comprehensive Food Safety and Quality Management System.’ Level 3 certification includes all the elements of Levels 1 & 2 and meets the needs of all suppliers in the food industry and emphasizes the systematic application of HACCP for control of food quality hazards as well as food safety. SQF LEVEL 3 implementation is a comprehensive implementation of food safety and quality requirements ideal for supplying all global food markets.
The current Level 3 rating is the highest achievement for quality certification in the Company’s history, after achieving Level 2 Standards in November 2017. “Achieving this standard shows our commitment to improve quality, safety and process improvements throughout our facility.
